This means ∆ ABC is a isosceles triangle.

The sum of interior angles in a triangle is 180°.

 \sf{ \implies \:  \angle a +  \angle \: b +  \angle \: c = 180 \degree}  \\  \\  \sf{ \implies \: 80 +   x+   x = 180 \degree } \\  \\  \sf{ \implies \: 80 \degree + 2x = 180 \degree}  \\  \\  \sf{ \implies2x = 100} \\  \\  \sf{ \implies \: x =  \frac{100}{2}  = 50 \degree}

Therefore the value of angle B is 50°.
