by subtracting both the equations we get
2x+3y-(2x-4y) = 11-(-24)
3y+4y = 35
7y = 35
y = 5
now substituting this in 2x+3y = 11
2x+3*5 = 11
2x = 11-15 = -4
x = -2
now we found that x = -2 & y = 5
now substituting this value in y=mx+3
5=m(-2) +3
5-3 = -2m
2=-2m
m = -1
hence the value of m is -1
