Let the given polynomial be p(x) .

Thus ,

p(x) = 3x⁴ + 2x² - 5x + 3

Also ,

If x - 2 = 0 , then x = 2 .

Thus ,

if the given polynomial p(x) is divided by (x - 2) , then the remainder k will be given as p(2) .

Thus ,

=> k = p(2)

=> k = 3•2⁴ + 2•2² - 5•2 + 3

=> k = 48 + 8 - 10 + 3

=> k = 49

Now ,

=> k + √k = 49 + √49

=> k + √k = 49 + 7

=> k + √k = 56

Hence ,

k + √k = 56
