Answer:
First of all you need to remember the formula for Viscous force.
Let the viscous force be F
Then,
F = n*A*(dv/dl),
where n = coefficient of viscosity, A is Surface area, (dv/dl) is the velocity gradient.
So initial force be F1.
F1 = n*A*(dv/dl)
Now, new surface area = (2*3)A = 6A.
So Let new force be F2
F2 = n*6A*(dv/dl)
F2 = n*6A*(dv/dl)=> F2 = 6*F1 => 6*10 => 60 N
F2 = n*6A*(dv/dl)=> F2 = 6*F1 => 6*10 => 60 NSo the answer is 60 N.
