ANSWER :-

Breadth of the canal = 6 m

Height of the canal = 1.5 m

speed of the canal = 10 km/hr

⠀⠀⠀⠀

speed of canal in 1 hour = 10 km

speed of canal in 60 min = 10 km

speed of canal in one min = \dfrac{1}{60} \times 10km

speed of canal in 30 min

=  \dfrac{30}{60}  \times 10 </p><p>=  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times 10 = 5km

as we know,

volume of canal = length × breadth × height

length = 5000 m ;

breadth = 6 m ;

height = 1.5 m

volume of canal = 5000 × 6 × 1.5 m³

volume of water in canal = volume of area to be irrigater

5000 × 6 × 1.5 m = area irrigated × height

Area irrigated =  \dfrac{45000 \times 100}{8}

Area irrigated = 562500 m² = 56.25 hectares
