Solution 1 :-
Here given ,
an = 24 -3n
n represent the no.of terms this means 1, 2 , 3, 4 , 5 ..........n
First term of an AP ,
an= 24 - 3n
a(1) = 24 - 3(1)
= 24 - 3
= 21
Second term of an AP,
an= 24 - 3n
a(2) = 24 - 3(2)
a(2) = 24 - 6
a(2) = 18
option 1 is right answer that is 18
Solution 2 :-
2x + 3y -9 =0
4x + 6y -18 = 0
Compare both equation with a1x + b1y + c1 = 0 (a1 = 2 , b1 = 3 and c1 = -9 and a2x + b2x + c2 = 0( a2 = 4 , b2 = 6 and c2 = -18 )
Therefore,
a1/a2 = 2 / 4 = 1 / 2
b1 /b2 = 3/6 = 1/2
c1 /c2 = -9/-18 = 1/2 (minus sign cancelled with minus sign)
So from above ,
a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2 it represents coincident lines
Option D is your answer mate
Solution 3 :-
A straight line which passes through two points on a circle is called secant. It joins the point of a circle
Option B is your answer mate
Solution 4:-
Option A is correct answer
Solution 5 :-
Given equation
x^2 -2x - 6
Here a = 1 , b = -2 , c = -6
The sum of zeroes = -b/a = -(-2)/1 = 2
The product of zeroes = c/a = -6/1 = -6
Option C (2 , -6 ) is your answer mate
Solution 6 :-
Given equation,
x^2 - x + 2
Here a = 1 , b = -1 , c = 2
By using discriminant ,
b^2 - 4ac
Put the values,
(-1)^2 -4* 1 * 2
1 -8 = -7
Here, -7 is smaller than 0
So it has no real roots
Option C is your answer mate
Solution 7 :-
Let's two triangles be ABC and PQR
ABC ~ PQR
Area of ABC /Area of PQR = (AB/PQ)^2 = (BC/QR)^2 = (AC/PR)^2
All corresponding sides are equal
Area of ABC /Area of PQR = (AB/PQ)^2
1/4 = ( AB/PQ)^2
AB/PQ = underroot 1/4
AB/PQ = 1/2
1 : 2 (option 1 )is your answer mate
Solution 8 :-
The value of sin30° = 1/2
The value of tan45° = 1
The value of 2sin30° - tan45° is
2 * 1/2 - 1
1 - 1 = 0
