2x^2 + x - 4 = 0
On Comparing this equation with General equation, we get
a = 2
b = 1
c = - 4
Discriminent = b^2-4ac
= 1 - (4)(2)(-4)
= 1 + 32
= 33
First root = ( - b + sqrt D) / 2a
=( - 1 +sqrt 33) / 4
Second root = (- b - sqrt D) / 2a
= (-1 - sqrt 33) / 4
