Explanation:

ANSWER:-

NO, There is no change in Ammeter Reading.

REASON:-

  • There is no change because the Ammeter 1 has also the same resistance 4 ohm.
  • Now in second Ammeter also resistance is 4 ohm
  • DERIVATION

GIVEN:-

Parallel Resistance 8 ohm each.

We know for parallel resistance,

 \frac{1}{x}  =  \frac{1}{x1}  +  \frac{1}{x2}

If x is equivalent resistance.

So,

 \frac{1}{x}  =  \frac{1}{8}  +  \frac{1}{8}

 \frac{1}{x}  =  \frac{2}{8}

x = 4 \Omega

As both of them have equal resistance, the Ammeter will show the same reading.

Note:-

  • Reciprocal the value when calculating Parallel combinations
