different methods of preventing corrosion of metals are:
galvanization:coating the metal article with zinc.
painting : so that the metal does not come in contact with air and moisture.
greasing: to break the contact of air and moisture.

Galvanization : By this method, a metal is coated with a layer of Zinc using Electroplating method.
Oiling: A metal is coated with a layer of oil to prevent it from corrosion.
Painting : A metal is coated with a layer of paint to prevent it from corrosion.
