substitute the value of x(-3/2) in the equation 4x^3+4x^2+x+6.
After substitution:
4(-3/2)^3+4(-3/2)^2+(-3/2)+6
After solving we get 27 which is why it is not a factor. If the equation added to give a 0, only then will it be a factor.
