♣︎Correct Question ♣︎

In ∆ABC;

  • AB = BC

  • AD is bisector of ∠BAC.

Solution

In ∆ABD and ∆ACD

  • AB = BC [ Given ]

  • AD = AD [ Given ]

  • ∠BAD = ∠CAD [ AD is bisector of ∠BAC ]

Hence ; ∆ABD ≅ ∆ ACD

To Prove :-

∠B = ∠C & BD = CD

Proof :-

As ∆ABD ≅ ∆ ACD ;

Hence ;

∠B = ∠C [ By CPCT ]

BD = CD [ By CPCT ]

CPCT :- Corresponding Parts Of Congruent Triangles.
