Or, y=30y=30

Substituting the value of y in first equation, we get;

Or, x+20x30=1000x+20x30=1000

Or, x+600=1000x+600=1000

Or, x=1000–600=400x=1000–600=400

Hence, fixed charges = Rs. 400 and per day charges = Rs. 30
