Bachendri Pal   -  climbed Mount Everest and leads Women adventure network k of India.

     Bimla Deoskar and Anita Vaidya also are adventurers.  They saves lives of some people during the Uttarakhand tragedy in 2013.

If we are looking for very courageous women of India - who are extremely tough and but talented and rose to glory, then some are here:

Veerangini Jhalkari Bai Kori – a courageous Dalit warrior woman (during 1830 – 1860).  She sacrificed for Indian freedom struggle.  She was from BundelKhand.

Rani Lakshmi bai -  ofJhansi – fought the British.

Chennamma in Karnataka (Belgaum district) fought aginst British during 1815. 

Bhima Bai Holkar fought against British during 1817.
