RBC stands for red blood corpuscles. This cell carry oxygen and carbon dioxide through the blood. These have oxygen carry pigment called haemoglobin. It gives red colour to the corpuscles. It binds with oxygen to form oxyhaemoglobin, which transport oxygen to all the cells.
