Answer:

Now-a-days fitness is of paramount importance in today's challenging world. With globalisation, privatization and liberalisation,  the jobs have changed, working hours have changed,  food we eat have changed  and so is the work culture. These work and lifestyle related changes  that is prevalent in our competitive society today has increased  the risk of diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, blood pressure, obesity and other infections. The gym facilities and fitness centres have been established   as an alternative available for those people who can't go to park  and exercise there. There is no competitions as such between the gym facilities, fitness centres and exercising in park and they have not affected the number of people coming to park. Only those people who don't find exercising in park satisfying or are in dire need of gym and wants to grow muscles and see fast results go to gym. Thus, opening of Gyms and Fitness centres have not reduced the importance of park as they are not made only for the purpose of exercising but for aesthetic reasons, spaces for people to meet and interact and to maintain ecological balance of environment.
