Subject: Discomfort caused due to frequent power cuts
I would like to draw the immediate attention of the concerned authorities, through the columns of your prestigious daily, to the frequent power cuts and breakdowns occuring in the residential areas.
It has been quite a long time since this problem has started. At first these power cuts were less frequent and for a short time, but as time passed this became more frequent. The residents have filed many complain letters but they all were either turned down or never got a reply.
It is indeed very surprising to note, that despite of big power houses and stations, there is still the shortage.
Hence, I would request you to kindly publish this in your newspaper, so that this problem comes under the highlights of the concerned authorities.
