Given :-

  • HCF of two numbers is 6.
  • LCM of two numbers is 84.
  • One of the numbers is 12.

To Find :-

  • Other number.

Solution :-

Let one number be "R" and other number be "S".

As we know that,

 \sf \red \bigstar \green{LCM × HCF = Product \:  of \:  two  \: numbers}

.°. LCM × HCF = R × S

[ Putting values ]

➡ 84 × 6 = 12 × S

➡ 504 = 12 × S

➡ S = 504/12

S = 42 \pink\bigstar

Hence,

  • Other number is 42.

Step-by-step explanation:

let the another no. be x

now,

using the formula

L.C .M × H.C.F = product of the two no.

84 × 6 = 12 × x

504/12 = x

x = 42 ans
