1. It might be because he sowed seeds of only one kind. He should have done mixed cropping which and growing each kind alternatively.

2. Paddy is better as paddy needs more water while others need less. It will help the plant to grow and fishes can also protect it from waterborne pests . The fish excreta is also a good source of nutrients for the plant. In this way he will have income from 2 sources.

3. Advantage:Dairy farming provides us with many nutrient rich sources
Disadvantage: Dairy animals feed on crop plants which destroy them and cause loss
