Here is your answer:-

Firstly Happy Diwali to you too mate.

Diwali is also known as the festival of lights.Diwali is celebrated because according to Hindu's mythology in treta yuga in which Shree Ram was born,in this yuga Shree Ram has defeated Ravana(an evil) who was also a very big 'pujari' of Lord Shiva. As we all know that after defeating Ravana, God Ram was coming back to his village(Ayodhya) and he was also returning back after the 14 years of Vanvash which was given him by one of his father's wife named 'Kakai' and God Ram was also the new king of Ayodhya after the death of his Father Raja Dasrat so to welcome their king back all the citizens of Ayodhya burn diyas and also to this is to enlighten them. And from that time this day is celebrated as Diwali, and till now it is celebrated as Diwali.according to popular legend, is also associated with the story of Yama and Nachiketa on Kartika amavasya. The story that narrates the tale of true wealth and knowledge and right versus wrong is perhaps the reason why Diwali is celebrated as  the festival of prosperity, wisdom and light.

first same to you happy diwali friend

Diwali is also known as Deepavali, Dipavali, Dewali, Deepawali, or the Festival of Lights. It is celebrated in October or November each year. Diwali celebrations can last for about five days.
drawn in white rice flour and filled in with color. Buildings are traditionally illuminated with oil-burning bowls called dipa lights, or more recently, with strings of artificial lights. People spend time with their friends and family.
On the first day of the festival people pray, eat a special breakfast consisting of different foods, and the Hindu goddess Lakshmi’s statue is carried throughout the streets in procession. Children are sometimes given candy or toys from booths set up for the occasion. In southern India children wear flower wreaths on their heads or anklets of bells. Boys in some areas construct elaborate castles and forts of mud and display them for visiting guests. After dark there are fireworks and people who live near rivers float lighted lamps on tiny rafts. To add to the festival of Diwali, melas (fairs) are held throughout India. These are found in many towns and villages.
I HOPE IT HELPFUL FOR YOU.
