(h) The ratio of number of boys and girls in a village school was 15: 1 but
due to school principal's effort the ratio came to 7:5. Now, the present
strength of boys is 8 more than the number of girls. What is the total
strength of students in school?​

girls before the principal's effort = 1x

boys after  the principal's effort = 7x

girls after the principal's effort = 5x

Now, the present

strength of boys is 8 more than the number of girls = (7x)(8)  x 5x

= 56x x 5x

=280x

therfore the total

strength of students in school = 7x + 280x

find the value of x
