Given :  H = V² sin²θ / 2g  

To Find : check the dimensional consistency

Solution:

H = V² sin²θ / 2g

V  =  Distance / Time

=> V = L / T

V²  = L² / T²

sin²θ  is dimensionless as sinθ is  dimensionless

2 is also dimensionless

g  = acceleration  

= dv/dt

= L/T.T

= L/T²

H = V² sin²θ / 2g

= (L² / T²)/(L/T²)

= L

Dimension of height = L

Hence dimensional consistency Verified
