- The range of a set of data is the difference between the highest and lowest values in the set. To find the range, first order the data from least to greatest. Then subtract the smallest value from the largest value in the set.

to find the range first order the no form lowest to greatest no . Then subtract lowest no from smallest no .
For example :-)
there is a set of no which is 4,6,9,8,7,3,5.
as I said first step is that arrange the no in ascending order which is as the following :-)
3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
now in second step I said that subtract the lowest no from greatest no which is as following :-)
lowest no :- 3 ,
gratest no :- 9.
Therefore 9-3=6.
