H2 gas give 2*H gas atoms as number of gaseous atoms increases randomness increases ...Entropy is a measure of randomness, more are the disorderly arranged particles in a system, more is the randomness and more is the entropy. So entropy increases when H2 breaks into 2 H atoms.

Answer:
H2 gives 2H
Explanation:
In this process, one molecule of hydrogen gas dissociated into two gaseous atoms i.e.,the number of gaseous particles increase leading to a more disordered state . Reason is also correct as breaking of bond requires energy. However, the reason doesn't explain the Assertion being made .
Thank you
