To compare the acidity and basicity of two compounds, the factor which is taken into consideration is the bond dissociation energy of M-H and M-OH bond respectively.

Now, coming to your question :-

For ang group, the bond enthalpy of M-H bond decreases down the group. Hence, H2O has greater bond enthalpy as that of H2S and hence, H2S is more acidic.
