H2O in the solid ice form is the example of changed state of a substance due to the temperature differences.

By using the temperature differences we can convert the solid ice into liquid water and then into the gaseous vapour.

And these procedures are easily reversible which means that we can easily interchange between any two states of H2O ,by applying or extracting the heat.
