Both H2S and H2O undergo intermolecular hydrogen bonding. Oxygen atom is more electronegative than sulphur atom hence the strength of hydrogen bonding between H2O molecules is much greater than the strength of hydrogen bonding between H2S molecules. Consequently H2O is liquid while H2S is gas
