because of the strong hydrogen bonding shown by H2O molecule...which is not possible in H2S

Hey !!
Due to small size and high electronegativity of oxygen, molecules of water are associated through hydrogen bonding, resulting in its liquid state. On the other hand, H₂S molecule are not assosicated through H-bonding. Hence, it is a gas.
