P2O5 with water hydrolyses. Redox hydrolysis occurs.

P2O5 + H2O → 2 H3PO4

1 mole of P2O5 gives 2 moles of H3PO4 because P2O5 is in +5 oxidation state and H3PO4 is also in +5 oxidation state
