H2s acts only as reducing agent but so2 acts both as a reducing agent as well as an oxidising agent

In H2 the Hatoms can easily donate electrons so they act as reducing agent while In SO2 , S atom can accept electron so behave like oxidising agent and Oatom can donate electrons so behave like reducing agent.
