500 molal means 500 mole in 1000g solvent

so, mass of solvent is 1000g

now, mass of solute =

moles of as solute * molar mass

= 500*98

=49000g

so, mass of solution= 1000+ 49000

=50,000 ml

vol of solution= mass of solution/density of solution

=50,000/1.8

=27,777.7ml = 27.7L

molarity = moles/volume of solution(L)

= 3/27.7

=. 18M

ANS = (a)
