Cell wall is absent in humans because the skin itself is a great physical barrier which also helps protect the immune system from 98% cases of being infected by a virus, bacterium, fungi, protozoa and other nonliving or living cells with cause the human body dysfunction.
The cell wall is present in plants, fungi and some types of protists. If seen the skin also acts to provide an osmotic balance to the body by providing defence from the alternating concentration which cause in plant cells and animal cells. Thus, the skin can itself maintain and act as a guard cell and a cell wall (also as it is a physiological barrier).

=> Human body does not need the cell wall because the cell wall present in plant help them to provide mechanical support.

=> It protects them against infectious virus and bacteria.

=> Humans instead have specialized skin cells that allow the organism to move around freely while still doing the job of keeping out pathogens.
