Total weight of the right 33/4 pounds

The rice is divided into 4 containers.

.

Find the weight of 1 container:

One container = 33/4 ÷ 4 = = 33/4 x 1/4 = 33/16 pounds

.

Convert the pounds into ounces:

1 pound = 16 ounces

33/16 pounds = 33/16 x 16 = 33 ounces

.

Answer: Each container has 33 ounces of rice.

TooFree: I do not see the mistake. 33/4 is an improper faction. if it is meant the write as 3 whole and 3/4, then it should be written with a space. 3 3/4. My answer is consistent with the question asked.
