The novel focuses on how Krish and Ananya entice their mother and father, one at a time.
The battle for the couple seems actual and can be easily related to. Ananya’s dad and mom need a complete Tamil man for their daughter, whilst Krish’s mother needs a fair-skinned Punjabi who comes with a high dowry. Both facets are unable to address the opposite as both have exceptional sets of “values”. Apparently, Punjabis are generous with gifts at the same time as Tamils are intellectuals. So there's a conflict of cultures. Will the couple be able to reconcile their dad and mom and themselves?
As I said, it's far regularly at the cease of his books that Chetan Bhagat does a cop-out along with his characters. So prepare yourself for some grand gestures and speeches. The creator forgets his characters’ trajectories and instead, they seem to be giving monologues directly to readers. That doesn’t appear normal and looks abrupt.
