Hacking is a crime.

(For)

While many people consider hacking as a crime, it is very useful on the other side as well.

Hacking is defined as illegal or unauthorized access to a computer or a system. But how is this access helpful to us? People have begun to use hacking for the betterment of the society by organizing things like 'hackathons', where people of our society compete with apps and propose solutions for tracking phones, using mobile devices for controlling things, etc. While this may lead us to some trouble, tracking phones can help us locate hidden criminals, lost people, etc. and using mobile devices can make our daily lives a lot easier.

(Against)

But Hacking is also bad. Some people use hacking for their personal gains; using hacking in this way is known as 'cracking', and most people get confused between these two terms. Cracking is potentially dangerous because one's personal identity, confidential documents, and important files are at risk to a greedy individual's deeds. While Hacking is a profiting system, cracking is criminal and people who use this to get fame and wealth should be punished.
