Had shreya scored 10 more marks in her english test out of 30 marks , 5 times of these marks would have been the square of her actual marks. How maby marks did she get in the test?

Let x be the scored marks & y be the actual marks ,

= ATQ -

= 10+x = 30

& 5x = y²

= x = 20 ,

= y² = 5×20 = 100 = 10

So she scored 10 marks actually
