The British rules the Indian Subcontinent for 200 years. Besides after leaving the Indian Subcontinent in 1947. Two states were born India and Pakistan. Pakistan was divided into two parts East and West Pakistan.
The capital of Pakistan was in west Pakistan. State power was also in their hand. But the British didn't defeated the combined forces of awadh, bengal, and the mughals.
