Answer:

corrosion is basically when the surface of a metal gets eat up. but in case of iron it is know as rusting. rancidity is when the food gets oxidised and a foul smell start coming from it.it is called rancidity. to prevent packed chips from rancidity nitogen gas is filled in it.
