Hey there!

QUESTION- Had there been no Faraday, there would have been no electricity."

Had there been no Faraday, there would have been no electricity."(a)Name the phenomenon discovered by Michael Faraday that results in the production of electricity.

Answer- The phenomenon, through which electrical energy could be converted into magnetic energy, is known as electro-magnetic induction.

(b) What is the necessary condition for this phenomenon to take place? Write any one

(b) What is the necessary condition for this phenomenon to take place? Write any one application based on the above phenomenon.

Answer- Necessary condition:-

The magnet must be adjusted and kept at a certain distance in order to light the bulb.

This is used in Inverter, generator, etc.

(c)Suppose a well insulated copper wire is connected to a bulb and a bar magnet is given to you. What is needed to be done -

you. What is needed to be done -(i) To maintain a steady flow of induced current.

you. What is needed to be done -(i) To maintain a steady flow of induced current.(ii) To stop the flow of current.(iii)To Increase the strength of induced current

Answer- The magnet should be kept at certain distance in order to glow the bulb. Although ,the bulb will glow for some seconds only.

Hope it's helpful
