EVALUATION

Let Cost of one plain pointed hat = x and one pair protected gloves = y

Now it is given that Hagrid gave 21 sickles to Harry to buy 1 plain pointed hat and 2 pairs of protected gloves

Again it is also stated that one pair of gloves is 3 times the cost of plain pointed hat

Equation 1 and Equation 2 gives
