${2}^{x} + {2}^{x} + {2}^{x} = 192$

Let me call power(2,x) = y, so if you do:

y+y+y = 192

3y = 192

y = 192/3 = 64 , but if you remember y = power(2,x) and 64 = power(2,6)

so x = 6
