Mohandas karamchandra Gandhi (October 1869-30 January 1948 ) mahatma was the primary leader of india independence movement and also the architect of a from of non violent civil disobediance that would influence the world.

mahatma Gandhi was born October 2, 1869, in porbandar, mahatma Gandhi studies law and advocate for the civil rights of Indians, both at home under British rule and in South Africa . Gandhi became a leader of india independence movement organising boycotts against British institutions in peaceful forms of civil disobediance. He was killed by a fanatic in 1948

when Gandhi arrived in South Africa he was quickly appalled by discrimination and racial segregation faced by indian immigrants at the hand of white British and boer authorities
