ANSWER -:

The depth or height of the cuboidal tank

is 0.2 m .

The volume of cuboidal tank or cuboid

= lbh

l = length = 2.1 m

B= breadth = 1.5 m

H= height = ?

2.1m× 1.5m ×h=630 litres

2.1 m x 1.5m x h = 630 /1000 m^3

[∵1m^3 = 1000 litres

1000cm^3 =1 litres ]

2.1 x 1.5 x h = 0.63m^3

3.15 x h = 0.63m^3

H = 0.63/3.15 = 0.2

H= 0.2m

The depth or height of the cuboidal tank

is 0.2 m .

Formula of Volume of different shapes

are -:

Cuboid -:V = l × w × h ,l = Length

w = Width

h = Height

Cube-: V = a3,a = Length of edge or side
