deers grazing in the field= 1/2of x= x/2
remaining deers = x-x/2 = x/2
deers playing nearby = 3/4 of x/2= 3x/8
remaining deers = x/2-3x/8 = x/8
According to the question = x/8 = 9 implies x = 9×8 = 72
therefore, 72 deers are there in the field
