According to the question,

$\implies \sf \purple{x - ( \frac{1}{2}x + \frac{3}{4} \times \frac{1}{2}x) = 9 } \\ \implies \sf{x - (\frac{1}{2}x + \frac{3}{8}x) = 9} \\ \implies \sf{x - \frac{7}{8}x = 9 } \\ \implies \sf{ \frac{1}{8}x = 9 } \\ \implies \sf{1x = 9 \times 8} \\ \implies \sf{1x = 72} \\ \therefore\sf{x = 72}$
