Step-by-step explanation:

Let the width be x meters

so length= 4+x

We know that ,

Perimeter of rectangular garden= 2(l+b)

2(4+x+x)= 36

2(4+2x)=36

8+4x=36

4x=36-8

4x=28

x=28/4

x=7

width= 7cm,

length= 4+x= 4+7= 11cm
