Answer:

Given, half of the length of perimeter is 36m

=) length of perimeter is 36×2 = 72m

According to question,

Let the width of rectangle be x

=} the length of rectangle is x + 4

we know that,

perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

=} 72m = 2 ( 4 + x + x)

=} 36m = 4 + 2x

=} 2x = 32m

=} x = 16m

Therefore, length and breadth of rectangular field are 20m , 16m respectively.

★ Let the width be X.

★ Then length be X+4.

l+b = 36

X+(X+4)=36

2X+4=36

2X=36-4

2X=32
