Answer:16m and 20m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that, half of the perimeter of the rectangle = 36

                ∴perimeter of the rectangle = 36 × 2 = 72 m

Let the width/breadth of the rectangle be x

so, its length = x +4

We know that in a rectangle perimeter = 2(l + b)

ie , 72 = 2( x + 4+ x)

ie,  72 = 2( 2x + 4)

ie,  72/2 = 2x + 4

ie,  36 = 2x + 4

ie, 2x = 36 - 4  = 32

or,  x = 32/2  = 16

∴breadth/width = x = 16 m    &   length = x + 4 = 16 + 4  = 20 m
