Let the Width be x.

Then, Length = (4+x)

Therefore,

Half Perimeter = (Length + Width)

=> 36 = (4+x + x)

=> 36 = 2x - 4

=> 2x = 36-4

=> 2x = 32

=> x = 16

Now Length = (4+x) m = (4+16) m = 20 m

Width = x m = 16 m
