Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

but it's written half perimeter = 2 ( l + b ) / 2 = ( l + b)

perimeter = l + b

36 = x + x + 4

36 - 4 = 2x

32 = 2x

x = breadth = 16
length = x + 4 = 16 + 4 = 20

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
then b= 36m whereas length is 4m more than
l= 4+36 =40m
half perimeter of rectangle = 1/2x2(l+b)
=1/2x2(40+36)
= 40 +36
=76
