then length becomes (x+4)
according to the question,
1/2(peri. ) = 36 m
1/2(2(l+b))=36 m
l+b = 36 m
x+4+x=36 m
2x=32 m
x=16 m

so dimension is 20m × 16m
formula used,
perimeter of rect. = 2(l+b)
